About Us

The Indian Journal of Psychological Issues (A Double-Blind, Peer-Reviewed, Open Access Journal) (ISSN- 0972-4427), established in 1996, is set to re-launch as a dynamic platform for scholarly publishing. Building on its legacy under pioneers such as Prof. Sukumar Bose, Prof Binoy Kumar Chaudhary and others, the journal will advance psychological research while embracing interdisciplinary perspectives.

The re-launched journal will feature original research, critical reviews and policy discussions, prioritising diverse voices and a “glocal” approach—melding local relevance with global impact. Aligned with the growing prominence of the Indian Knowledge System, it aims to be a vital resource for universities, research institutions and scholars, fostering contributions from both established and emerging academics.

Beyond publishing, the journal will promote academic engagement through workshops, seminars and public lectures. It will be published biannually \ (June and December) in English and Hindi to reflect India’s linguistic diversity. It will be committed to excellence, inclusivity and accessibility. The editorial team invites the academic community to contribute to this journey of innovation, where legacy meets future and knowledge thrives.
